<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food capable of keeping the radical scavenging activity of dried Dunaliella and Spirulina for a long period without losing the activity and having high quality and provide a method for the production of the food. <P>SOLUTION: The food having radical scavenging activity is produced by adding powder of a plant of at least the genus Bidens or its extract to one or both of dried Dunaliella and Spirulina, and a method for the production of the food.
