PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of defrosting water remaining on a fan guard into an interior. SOLUTION: After defrosting operation is finished, precooling operation of stopping a cooling fan 33 and driving only a compressor 17 is carried out. Then, cooling operation is resumed following driving of the cooling fan 33, but during the first 120 seconds, a rotational frequency of a fan motor 34 is reduced than normal to carry out low speed operation of the cooling fan 33. By this, cold air produced by an evaporator 23 is blown on the fan guard 36 in a slight breeze state, and by dropping below the freezing point, water droplets remaining on the fan guard 36 is frozen again. Then, the cooling operation is resumed while the cooling fan 33 is operated at full speed. Subsequently, interior air is circulated at a corresponding wind speed, it passes the evaporator 23, and it is blown on the fan guard 36, but since all of the water droplets remaining on the evaporator 23 and the fan guard 36 are in frozen states, scattering of the remaining defrosting water into the interior is prevented.
