PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier which can reduce bubbling sounds generated when water is supplied from a feed water tank. SOLUTION: This humidifier is provided with a cartridge type feed water tank 10A storing water for humidification and a water receiving tank 8 receiving the water supplied from the feed water tank in a main body 1. The feed water tank 10A is provided with a tank cap 13 having a water outlet 14 opened and closed by a water stop valve 20. The water stop valve is provided with a valve spindle 15 and a valve disk 21 of which the central portion is fitted to the valve spindle. The valve disk is constituted by a horizontal annular part 23 of a prescribed width having a plurality of through holes 25 of a small diameter formed along the circumferential direction, and a side wall part 24 extended and installed along the outer circumference of the annular part and extended downward in a prescribed length.
