<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a reflective layer, which is a silver alloy that composes the reflective layer, and functions without decreasing its reflectance even after a long period of service. <P>SOLUTION: The silver alloy for a reflective film includes silver as a main component, and indium and/or tin as additional elements. The concentration of the additional elements is preferably 0.1 to 2.0 wt.%. The concentration in the range can inhibit the decrease of the reflectance. In consideration of the thermal conductivity of the reflective layer, the concentration of the additional element is further preferably limited to 0.1 to 0.5 wt.%.
