<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge which facilitates management of the cartridge containing a recording material, a method for managing the cartridge, and an image recording apparatus in which the cartridge is loaded. <P>SOLUTION: The cartridge 13 contains recording paper S for image recording in a replaceable state and can be loaded in the image recording apparatus, wherein an ID tag 66 on which identification information on the recording paper S has been recorded and can be read with radio waves in a non-contact state is attached to an end 61a of a winding core member 60 on which the recording paper S is wound, and a side face 13a of the cartridge close to and opposite to the end with the attached ID tag is formed of a resin material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
