PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a printed wiring board very small in board area kept it high in quality. SOLUTION: The conductor pattern of a printed wiring board is formed in rectangular cutting regions AR1, AR2, AR3, and AR4 each surrounded with a dashed lines on the surface 100A of a board 100. An auxiliary region AR5 is continuously joined to the cutting regions AR1 to AR4 through the intermediary of through-hole lands. Guide grooves G1 to G8 are formed along the cutting parts of the cutting regions AR1 to AR4. The auxiliary region AR5 is formed by leaving a copper foil layer unremoved in etching when the conductor patterns are formed, and the guide grooves G1 to G8 are formed by removing the copper foil layer in etching. The guide grooves G1 to G8 are used as cutter guides when the cutting regions AR1 to AR4 are cut out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
