PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device for correcting the image of an object imaged under arbitrary illumination conditions, into an image, photographed under predetermined illumination conditions. SOLUTION: This image processor 100 is provided with an ideal illumination image acquiring part 104, which acquires an "ideal ball image" by imaging a reference ball under "ideal illumination conditions", an actual illumination image acquiring part 106 which images the reference ball and the subject under "real illumination conditions", and acquires a "actual ball image" and a "subject actual image", a shape acquiring part 102 which acquires the solid shapes of the reference ball and the subject, a normal direction deciding 108 which judges the normal directions of the respective parts of the "ideal ball image", "actual ball image" and "subject actual image" based on the solid shapes of the reference ball and the subject, a difference calculating part 110 which calculates the difference of colors of each of the normal directions of the respective parts of the "ideal ball image" and the "actual ball image" as a "difference in colors" and a subject image correcting part 112, which corrects the colors of the respective parts of the "subject actual image" with the "difference in colors" in each of the normal directions.
