CONCENTRATOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized highly efficient concentrator used for concentrating sludge subjected to flocculation and having a screen increased in its effective surface area. SOLUTION: A separation screen 3 comprising wedge wires is provided in a cylindrical casing 2 and revolvable guide blades 4 are arranged in the separation screen 3. The floc of the sludge introduced from the bottom part of the casing 2 is fed to the upper part above a liquid surface of the separation screen 3 by the revolved revolvable guide blades 4 and drained before discharged to a dehydrator from a concentrate discharge port 22. The water content of the concentrate discharged from the concentrate discharge port 22 can be arbitrarily adjusted by adjusting the opening degree of the electromotive valve 25 of the discharge pipe 24 communicating with the outside of the separation screen 3.
