PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molded article suitable for outdoor uses which has, formed thereon, a hydrophilic film excellent in adhesion to the resin molded article and scratch resistance and also excellent in transparency. SOLUTION: The hydrophilic film is formed on the surface of the resin molded article by curing a composition comprising 20-40 pts. wt. of a hydrolyzable organic silicon compound and 60-80 pts. wt. of inorganic compound fine particles having an average particle size of at most 40 nm. Preferably, the resin molded article is a polymethyl methacrylate resin molded article and the inorganic compound fine particles are silica fine particles or alumina fine particles.
