PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a seismic control wall increasing rigidity as a building and exhibiting the high seismic control effect in the case of earthquake without making any restriction on the surrounding plan. SOLUTION: In the structure of the seismic control wall damping the response of the building to shaking in the case of earthquake by incorporating a column 1 and a beam 2 framing of the building into a plane of structure, an opening 3 is formed, at the same time, wall members 4 and 5 arranged by holding the opening 3 and a beam member 6 constructed between those wall members 4 and 5 are included, both ends of the beam member 6 are respectively fixed to the wall members 4 and 5 and, at the same time, it is so formed that an intermediate section located between the wall members 4 and 5 has absorption performance of shaking energy by hysteretic damping in the case of earthquake.
