<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instant food container with a hot water dripping function, according to which the peeling of a lid material sealing a flange of a container body is stopped at a desired position without fail when the lid material is peeled off for opening, and a hot water dripping outlet formed at a corner of the container body has a large area to facilitate hot water dripping. <P>SOLUTION: The instant food container 100 has the lid material which seals the flange 21 of the quadrilateral container body 2. The lid material has an opening pull-tab 12 at one corner 12a and the hot water dripping function at the other corner 11a that is diagonal to the corner 12a. An inward projecting flange portion 21b is formed at a desired position 21a on the part of the flange 21 that corresponds to two sides 15, 16 forming the pull-tab side corner 12a.
