<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for producing plant-based biomass charcoal which produces a plant-based biomass charcoal of a high energy density and a high specific gravity and which can reduce the transportation cost of fuels. <P>SOLUTION: A biomass source is carbonized in carbonization equipment 7 and the produced biomass charcoal is pulverized with a pulverizer 9. In compaction equipment 12, the biomass charcoal powder pulverized with the pulverizer 9 is mixed with a wood tar which is a product of the carbonization equipment 7, and pelletized to produce a pelletized biomass charcoal having a large specific gravity (mass per unit volume). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
