<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving unit which protects a plurality of drivers for driving a plurality of motor generators from breakage due to overvoltage. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU73 judges the operation of motor generators M1, M2, based on the numbers MRN1, 2 of generations of motors and the torque command values TR1, TR2. When the motor generators MG1, MG2 are in regenerative mode and power run mode, respectively, the ECU73 generates a break permission signal RG1 and outputs it to an AND gate 71, when the generated power in the motor generator MG1 becomes larger than the threshold. An inverter 50 generates a fail signal FE2 and outputs it to the AND gate 71, when it detects an overcurrent. The AND gate 71 calculates the logical product of the break permission signal RG1 and the fail signal FE2, and outputs a break signal DWN1 to an inverter 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
