PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation technology, i.e. a navigation system, a method, and a program, capable of easily grasping user location and other location, or a relative relation between the user location and an object while moving. SOLUTION: An arbitrary point on a map is registered in advance; a registered point outside a display region on a display device is determined; a present location is detected; the location of the registered point is determined with the detected location as a nominal; and the name of a registered point close to the present location from among the registered points outside the display region, the azimuth of the registered point to the present location, the distance from the present location to the registered point are displayed on each of locations corresponding to them.
