PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the error correction efficiency of the entire data by wiring simple structure, without causing redundant data to increase. SOLUTION: In a receiving terminal of a digital broadcast system in which known fixed values is preliminarily included in a TSP transmitted in a TS form by attaching parity for RS correction, the correction efficiency of the entire TSP is enhanced, in such a manner that an error correction circuit 144 once stores the TSP transmitted from the transmitting side into a memory A13, a TS identification circuit A14 identifies the type of TS and selects data stored in a pertinent table from conversion tables A111 to A11n in which the fixed values corresponding to the kinds of TS are preliminarily stored, a rewrite processing circuit 142 forcibly rewrites the fixed values in the TSP stored into the memory A13 and transmits the rewritten fixed values to an RS correction circuit 145.
