PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens controller for performing operation, by discriminating a shot button for a desired zoom position from another shot button, without viewing the shot buttons arranged in a shot box. SOLUTION: In the lens controller, plastic caps 60A-60F are attached to the respective shot buttons 50A-50F of the shot box 10. Projections 62 in the spot patterns of a dice are formed integrally on the surface of the plastic caps 60A-60F. One, two, three, four, five and six projections 62 are formed in the plastic caps 60A, 60B, 60C, 60D, 60E, 60F to be capped on the shot buttons 50A, 50B, 50C, 50D, 50E, 50F corresponding to the numbers "1", "2", "3", "4", "5", "6" of the shot buttons 50A, 50B, 50C, 50D, 50E, 50F.
