PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring instrument for a vehicle to simplify a lighting structure on the periphery of different kinds of light emitting parts when causing the light emitting parts to emit light at the same time. SOLUTION: This measuring instrument is equipped with a front panel 130 comprising a first light emitting part L1 and a pointer 6 comprising a second light emitting part L2 juxtaposed with the emitting part L1. A circuit substrate 120 is put between the first and second light emitting parts L1 and L2 while first and second light sources 140 and 150 are disposed on the circuit substrate 120 for causing the first and second emitting parts L1 and L2 to emit light, respectively.
