PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head gasket 1 which has a good sealing property and is able to adjust a thickness of a thickness increased part 8. SOLUTION: The cylinder head gasket 1 is provided with both gasket boards 2, 3, an annular thickness increased member 5 fixed on the first gasket board 2, and a sub plate 6 interposed between both of the gasket boards 2, 3. A thickness of the sub plate 6 is smaller than that of the thickness increased member 5, and the sub plate 6 is arranged on an outer side of the thickness increased member 5. When the cylinder head gasket 1 is interposed between a cylinder head and a cylinder block and is fastened by a fastening bolt, thicknesses of both of the gasket boards 2, 3 are increased in the thickness increased part 8 by a thickness having reduced the thickness of the sub plate 6 from the thickness of the thickness increased member 5.
