PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball valve, decreasing the number of parts, connected to a downstream pipeline in the state of being reduced in face-to-face dimension in the case of not requiring a constant flow device, reducing the number of types of ball valves to be prepared, accurately regulating the flow of the constant flow device, integrally disposing a filter mechanism for removing foreign matter in a fluid and an actuator for automatically opening and closing a valve element in a compact, shortening the arrangement dimensions of the valve, and heightening the efficiency of piping work. SOLUTION: In this ball valve, ball seats 7a, 7b for sealing a ball valve element 3 rotatably provided in a body 2 having an inflow side and an outflow side are pressed by an insert 8 screwed in from a female screw 6 provided on the outflow side. A cutout part 6a for engaging a flow adjusting mechanism 13 such as the constant flow device is formed in the inside diameter of the female screw 6 to removably store the flow adjusting mechanism 12 on the outflow side of the body 2, and a pipeline 14 is connected to the female screw 6 from which the flow adjusting mechanism 13 is removed through the cutout part 6a.
