PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque limiter which reduces the torque in an idling mode after the operation, prevents degradation of the entire durability, reduces the internal torsion in the rotational direction before the operation, and also increases the torsional rigidity. SOLUTION: A first inclined surface 24 which is brought into contact with a ball 21 at the torque transmission position at which the torque can be transmitted to a torque transmission ring 20 side from a plunger 15, and a second inclined surface 25 to move the ball 21 in the direction of the torque transmission shut-off position to shut off the torque transmission between the plunger 15 and the torque transmission ring 20 by the pressure applied to the plunger 15 in the direction of drawing the plunger 15 from a pocket part 17 if any excessive load is generated in a driven device side when the torque is transmitted from a drive source side to the driven device side are provided on an outer circumferential surface of the plunger 15. |
