<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge with improved reliability in electrical connection between an input contact provided to the process cartridge and an output contact provided on an image forming apparatus body when the process cartridge is attached to an electrophotographic image forming apparatus body, and also to provide the electrophotographic image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A moving operation member 142 is provided relatively to a cartridge frame body. The moving operation member 142 is moved relatively against the cartridge frame body by being engaged to a fixed engaging member 146 provided fixed to an image forming apparatus body A when the process cartridge B is inserted to the apparatus body A.
