<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiving circuit which has reduced power consumption and is miniaturized, and to provide an electronic apparatus provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The output of a photo diode 1 which detects an optical signal from an optical fiber sequentially passes an initial-stage amplifier part, an amplifier 17, a hysteresis comparator 18, a buffer 19, and an output stage. A bias circuit 6 supplies a bias current to the amplifier 17, the hysteresis comparator 18, and the buffer 19. A signal detection circuit 3 sends a reset signal, on the basis of the output of the amplifier 17, and a shut-down control circuit 5 sets the bias circuit 6 to a shut-down state, in response to the input of the reset signal to the shut-down control circuit 5. The shut-down state of the bias circuit 6 is released, on the basis of the output of the initial-stage amplifier part by the shut-down control circuit 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
