<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical energy storage device of a high output with a wide range of operating voltage. <P>SOLUTION: The electrochemical energy storage device is provided with a positive electrode having a positive electrode collector 14 and a positive electrode active material 8 supported by the positive electrode collector and capable of storing and discharging metal ion, a negative electrode having a negative electrode collector 12 and a negative electrode active material 11 supported by the negative electrode collector and capable of storing and discharging metal ion, a micro porous separator 15 pinched by the positive and the negative electrodes, and organic electrolyte solution 10, with an operating voltage range of under 2V to over 4V. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
