<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can contribute to miniaturization of the whole apparatus while maintaining an image quality in forming an image. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a driving part for normally and reversely rotating a photoreceptor, a sensor for optically reading a toner image formed on the photosensitive surface of the photoreceptor, and a control part for making the sensor read the photosensitive surface by reversely rotating the photoreceptor by the driving part, after transferring the toner image formed on the photosensitive surface for a sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
