PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve comfort of a driver in especially a railway vehicle where an under carriage and a carbody are connected for being incapable of satisfactorily rotating by reducing lateral acceleration of a driver's seat generated from track setting (selection) as easily and inexpensively as possible. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a railway vehicle, especially an urban railway vehicle, whose driving cab comprises a floor plate 2 connected to an underframe 1, the driver's seat 3, a switch 4, an instrument panel 5 equipped with instruments, and in some cases, other equipment parts such as an equipment locker 6 and a foot block 7. The driver's seat 3, the instrument panel 5, and preferably other equipment parts 6, 7 are assembled on a floor member 8 elastically supported in the lateral direction of the vehicle to the underframe 1.
