PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor for forming a stable image even after repeated use, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge for the image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor obtained by sequentially stacking at least a charge blocking layer, an anti-moire layer and a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, the photosensitive layer contains titanyl phthalocyanine crystals of crystal form having a maximum diffraction peak at least at 27.2°, further having principal peaks at 9.4°, 9.6°and 24.0°, having a peak at 7.3°as a diffraction peak on the lowest angle side, having no peak between the peak at 7.3°and the peak at 9.4°, and having a peak at 26.3°(shown by the arrow in the graph), as diffraction peaks (±0.2°) of Bragg angle 2θto a characteristic X-ray (wavelength; 1.542Å) of CuKα, wherein an average particle size of primary particles is≤0.25μm.
