PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector in which a wiring area for optical fibers are made small. SOLUTION: The optical connector 1 is provided with a coupling 2, an optical connector ferrule 4, and an optical fiber drawing-out part 8 for drawing the optical fiber 20 out is formed at the side part 2a of the coupling 2. Thus, the optical fiber 20 connected to an outlet for optical connector can be wired at a position near a wall because the optical fiber 20 is drawn out of the coupling 2 from the side part.
