PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having improved capacity efficiency without reducing the size of a cooler. SOLUTION: The refrigerator in a forcibly cooling system in which cooled air is circulated into chambers with a blower comprises a cooler chamber storing the cooler for generating the cooled air and the blower on the back side of a refrigerator body, and a machine chamber storing a compressor provided at the back lower part of the refrigerator body on the lower side of the cooler chamber.
