In a rubber or the like bush assembly comprising a rubber or the like sleeve 3 secured between inner and outer rigid sleeves 4, 5 the outer sleeve is provided with an outwardly directed flange 6 at one end and an inwardly directed flange 9 at the other, the two flanges being overlaid by portions 7, 10 of rubber or the like. The bush assembly is mounted between a part 1 of, for example, the chassis of a vehicle and a movable part 2 such as a suspension arm. The portion 10 may be of a harder rubber than that of the sleeve and a recess 11 may be provided in the sleeve adjacent the inner edge of the inwardly extending flange 9. |
