An off-shore liquefied natural gas structure may receive, store, and process liquefied natural gas from carriers. A structure may be a gravity base structure. A liquefied natural gas storage capacity of a structure may be based on factors including the liquefied natural gas capacity of one or more carriers, the desired peak capacity of the structure for converting liquefied natural gas to natural gas, the rate at which liquefied natural gas from a carrier is transferred to one or more storage tanks, and the cost associated with operating the structure. A structure may have a liquefied natural gas storage capacity of less than 200,000 cubic meters.
