PHOTORECEPTOR UNIT GEAR ASSEMBLY, DRIVE METHOD THEREFOR, AND PHOTORECEPTOR UNIT WITH THE ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive efficiently a cleaning roller and a waste toner transfer means by one power supply source while achieving the compact disposition of them within a photoreceptor unit in spite of an easy structure and assembly.

SOLUTION: A gear assembly 300 for the photoreceptor unit 100 that has a photoreceptor drum 200 disposed in an image forming apparatus includes: a drum gear 310 connected to one end of the photoreceptor drum; a cleaning gear 350 which rotates by receiving power transmitted from the drum gear; and at least one idle gear which is disposed between the drum gear and the cleaning gear and transmits the rotating force of the drum gear to the cleaning gear. The drum gear 310 has a smaller outside diameter than that of the photoreceptor drum.
