PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serviceable input guide device capable of redisplaying input guidance when a display showing input data is entirely deleted.

SOLUTION: The input guide device includes a display part 10 for displaying an input screen on which to input character data and the like; an operating part 12 for inputting data in the form of characters or the like; a storage part 14 for storing a variety of data such as input guidance data; and a control part 16. The input guidance displayed in a predetermined area of the input screen during start is deleted when characters or the like are inputted in the predetermined area of the input screen by means of the operating part 12. Once all the characters or the like have been deleted, the input guidance data are read from the storage part 14 to redisplay the input guidance in the predetermined area.
