HOOD STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood structure of a vehicle capable of enhancing the impact absorption efficiency of a front end portion of a hood.

SOLUTION: A lock reinforcement 30 is disposed between a front portion 16B of a hood outer panel 16 and a front portion 18D of a hood inner panel 18 to ensure the rigidity of a portion with a striker 22 mounted thereon. The side sectional shape of the lock reinforcement 30 is U-shaped with an opening part directed downwardly. A front wall part 30A and a rear wall part 30B are inclined from a forward lower side of a vehicle body to a rear upper side of the vehicle body, and an upper wall part 30C extends along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body along the hood outer panel 16.
