PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent entering of rainwater and muddy water, etc. into the inside from air suction port of an air cleaner. SOLUTION: This scooter type motorcycle 1 is provided with an engine 5, a unit swing type power unit 4 having a transmission case 6 for storing a power transmission device to transmit driving force of the engine 5 to rear wheels, and the air cleaner 23 supported by an upper part of the transmission case 6. In the air cleaner 23, an opening part 100 for opening the air suction port 36 toward a vehicle body side is provided, and a projecting part 101 for projecting a lower end of a peripheral edge part of the opening part 100 to the opening part side is provided.
