PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management system capable of providing information indicating whether the connection type of a network apparatus to a network is wired connection or wireless connection to a user. SOLUTION: A server searches a printer on the network (S101), acquires printer information from the detected printer using an SNMP protocol (S103), checks a radio environment for each access point (S105), and displays, prints or outputs by file an acquired printer information and a checking result of the radio environment (S107). An icon indicating whether the type of connection of the printer to the network is wired connection or wireless connection is displayed on the information to be displayed, printed or file-outputted.
