PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene fiber produceable with excellent drawability and spinnability. SOLUTION: The fiber has a layer composed of a resin composition comprising (A) 10-90 wt.% crystalline propylene-based resin and (B) 90-10 wt.% amorphousα-olefin-based polymer based on 100 wt.% total of the components (A) and (B). The amorphousα-olefin-based polymer comprises monomer units derived from two or more kinds of olefins selected from the group consisting of ethylene, propylene and a 4-20Cα-olefin, and satisfies the following conditions (b1) and (b2): (b1) satisfying formula (1): 0≤[x/(x+y)]<0.7 [wherein, x is a content (mol%) of a monomer unit derived from the ethylene in the polymer; and y is a content (mol%) of a monomer unit derived from the 4-20Cα-olefin in the polymer]; and (b2) having 0.5-10 dl/g intrinsic viscosity [η].
