PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steaming degree adjusting method for controlling the supply amount of steam to a steam chamber through detecting the temperature of steamed leaves passing through the steam chamber and water adhering to the surface of leaves. SOLUTION: This steaming degree adjusting method comprises attaching control valves to at least several steam discharging pipes, detecting the temperature of steamed leaves passing through the steam chamber and the amount of water on the surface of the steamed leaves, and opening/closing the control valves of the appropriate steam discharging pipes so as to moderately adjust the amount of steam to be sprayed to the tea leaves to be processed.
