PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator capable of increasing the storage amount of tapes in an accumulator without need for power such as a motor used for moving the tapes stored in the accumulator. SOLUTION: The tape is changed from an upper twisting section into a vertical one (vertical to the horizontal), and the changed tape is fed to the accumulator with three inclined portions. The tape is moved to a lower section by its dead weight. The three inclined portions have inclined angles: an acute angle, a moderate angle and parallel respectively in this order from the top.
