he invention relates to a plastic soil-covering sheet destined for use in agricultural cultivations. Said soil-covering sheet has shaped ends all along its length; each shaped end features a double unidirectional overlap formed in such a way that the width (b) of the fist overlap 4 is inferior to the width (c) of the second 5 (preferentially it is smaller than half the width of the second overlap). The successive sheets of each shaped end are lengthwise and mutually glued by sealings, preferentially transverse sealings performed in such a way that both overlaps can glue to the main body of the plastic sheet (preferentially not mutually glued). Furthermore, the first overlap glues to the main body by successive sealings having the form ofa stamp of any shape (oval or round sealings are preferred) not exceeding half the width of the first overlap and located, preferentially, in the middle, between two successively formed transverse sealings. Thus, the weighted pockets are formed witha soil access opening each, the size of the opening being almost equal to the pocket length. During the first soil filling, the stamp-shaped sealings pull the first overlap towards the main body of the plastic sheet whereto same overlap is adhered tending to close the soil access opening and confine the soil into the pockets. |
