PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reproduction in response to a slave unit that instructs reproduction, even while a disk changer for accommodating a disk to which the reproduction is instructed by the slave unit is being in read operation. SOLUTION: When the slave unit 30a instructs the reproduction of the disk accommodated in the disk changer 10a, a control unit 20 determines whether or not the dick changer 10a is in the read operation currently. When it is determined that the disk changer 10a is in the read operation currently, the control unit 20 discriminates the category, such as genre and artist information, of content data recorded on a disk to which the reproduction is instructed, extracts a disk on which content data belonging to the determined category are recorded from the disks accommodated in disk changers 10b, 10c that are not in the read operation currently; and reads the content data of the extracted disk for transmitting to the slave 30a instructing the reproduction.
