PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the adhesive strength of a diaphragm for an ink-jet printer unit. SOLUTION: The diaphragm covering the pressure chamber has a thermoplastic layer with adhesiveness and a pattern layer which overlies the thermoplastic layer in at least the opposite section against the pressure chamber and at the position other than the opposite section against the above liquid feeding-passage. At the time of installing the diaphragm which has the thermoplastic layer and the pattern layer on the principal plane at which the liquid feeding-passage of the pressure chamber forming section is formed and of adhering the thermoplastic layer of the diaphragm onto the top of the pressure chamber forming section by pressurizing and heating the layer, the pressure is applied in concentrating to the pattern layer of the diaphragm. At that time, neither unnecessary pressure is applied to the opposite section against the liquid feeding-passage where the pattern layer is formed, nor the liquid feeding-passage is closed with the thermoplastic layer, and also the work of bonding the diaphragm to the pressure forming section at which the pressure chamber has been formed is easily performed.
