发明名称 Unbalanced current protection system for use with paralleled generators
摘要
1,020,101. Protective systems. WESTING- HOUSE ELECTRIC CORPORATION. Jan. 27, 1964 [Feb. 6, 1963], No. 3353/64. Heading H2K. [Also in Division H3] In an unbalanced-current protective system for a plurality of paralleled generators, current transformers are connected in a closed loop circuit so that auxiliary transformers are energized.in accordance with the difference between the current of the associated generator and the mean of the currents supplied by all the generators. Each of the auxiliary transformers 54 is connected to a static circuit, Fig. 2, such that when the difference current due to unbalance reaches a predetermined value, the output voltage of the auxiliary transformer secondary winding 55 is sufficient to cause a Zener diode 104 to break down and render a controlled rectifier 99 conductive, a Zener diode 96 having broken down at a lower predetermined value. When the rectifier 99 conducts, it renders a normally non-conducting transistor 106 conducting. This inturn causes a transistor 114 to cease conducting, so that the voltage across it becomes sufficient to break down a Zener diode 119 and energize a relay 122 and an indicating lamp 124. When the unbalance is reduced below the lower predetermined value, the diode 96 ceases to conduct, so that the controlled rectifier 99 and the transistor 106 cease to conduct. The transistor 114 now conducts and relay 122 releases. In a modified arrangement, Fig. 3 (not shown), a single Zener diode and a single transistor are used, the two predetermined values being obtained by the alternate use of two potentiometers under the control of changeover contacts of the relay.
