A valve (1) for opening and closing of a flow passage (P) comprising a seating member (3) and a valve disc (6), an E-ring sealing (19) of metal, which in cross-section has three branches (20-22) directed in the same direction, is arranged to seal against at one end said circumferential portion of the valve disc (6) and at the end said seating member (3), when the valve disc (6) is in its closed position. In its closed position the valve disc (6) has direct contact with the seating member (3), besides through the E-ring sealing (19), the E-ring sealing (19) having such an axial extension that it comes in contact with both the seating member (3) and the valve disc (6) before said direct contact occurs upon movement of the valve disc (6) from an opened to a closed position. Fastening members (17) are arranged to keep the E-ring sealing (19) in place at one of the seating member (3) or the valve disc (6). |
