The fuel pressure regulator controls the pressure of the liquid fuel supplied to the heating device via operation of a membrane (44), cooperating with a pressure chamber (58) having a fuel inlet (74) and a fuel outlet (76) and secured to the pressure chamber housing (32) at its outer and inner edges (46,54). The intermediate region (78) of the membrane,between its outer and inner edges, is displaced in dependence on the fuel pressure in the pressure chamber against a spring bias and supports an operating device (80) for a closure (66) for the central fuel inlet. An Independent claim for a fuel dosing pump combined with a fuel pressure regulator is also included. |
