PURPOSE: A horizontal cylinder type biological reactor is provided, thereby reducing the installed height of the biological reactor, easily recovering the fermented products by inclining the reactor, and eliminating contamination due to a stirrer by using aeration. CONSTITUTION: The horizontal cylinder type biological reactor comprises: a horizontal cylinder type reaction chamber(100); an opening/closing hatch(150) positioned in one side of the reaction chamber(100); a plurality of spargers(110) installed in the bottom of the reaction chamber(100) for aeration; and a plurality of supplement chambers(120) installed under the reaction chamber(100) and containing the spargers(110), wherein the supplement chambers(120) are separably attached to the reaction chamber(100) for easy cleaning and maintenance of the reaction chamber(100).
