<p>A device for producing foil rolls (24), which is particularly suited for producing core-less film rolls, comprises a roll holding device (10) for accommodating a film roll (12) having a film web (14) that is to be wound. The film web (14) is wound onto a winding spindle (20) in order to produce the preferably core-less film roll (24). In order to produce a particularly core-less film roll (24), the winding spindle comprises a number of radially displaceable holding segments (50) extending in the longitudinal direction of the winding spindle (20). After the winding spindle (20) along with the wound film roll (24) is transferred to a conveying device (32), the winding spindle is conveyed to a removal station (46). The removal station, which serves to automatically remove the wound film roll (24) from the winding spindle (20), comprises a displacing device, which displaces the holding elements (50) of the winding spindle (20) into a removal position. The outside diameter of the winding spindle is smaller in this removal position whereby enabling the film roll (24) to be removed from the winding spindle (20) and to fall onto a conveyor belt (60).</p> |
