A method and a device for accurately detecting information on the attitude of a movable body, the device comprising a highly accurate attitude detection mechanism (1) having, in pairs, one rate gyro (2a) for detecting the attitude and the other rate gyro (2b) capable of providing an output inverse to that outputted from the rate gyro (2a); the method comprising the step of performing a calculation processing to mutually offset output variations in these both rate gyros.
