According to the method for manufacturing the insert of the bucket of the limb prosthesis, the support damping element is manufactured by filling the mixture of silicone gel with catalyst followed by vulcanization. The workpiece of the insert of the bucket made of the sheet of the hot shaping gas-filled material in the shape of the truncated cone exceeding the height of the plaster cast by 4-5 cm is put onto the plaster cast of the stump. The sheet is stuck and heated until the softening. Then the stuck warm conical workpiece is pulled onto the plaster cast of the stump. The silicone composition with the catalyst is filled into the opening of the truncated cone to the level of the support element. Finally, the bottom of the bucket of the limb prosthesis is tailored.
