The machine (1) for the formation of skewered and spit-borne meats and comprises a structure in which a chain (3) is moved via which moulds containing pieces of meat deposited manually are transported to the end of the chain where supports retain the moulds, the meat pieces being immobilized by needles. A central feeder is activated which impels a stick into the central area of each plate of meat located in the moulds, resulting in the formation of a skewered or spit-borne piece of meat mechanically and hygienically.
