A SLUDGE BED

The invention relates to dehydration of sediments and can be used in biological purification of municipal and industrial waste waters. The sludge bed contains pit with walls slopes and hydroisolated concrete floor, and on the latter disposed are horizontal drainage perforated pipes in gravel-sand cushion connected to sewage well and vacuum pump. According to the invention the sludge bed is equipped with storage container connected to drain pipes, sewage well and vacuum pump. The invention provides for an increase of quality of waste waters primary purification due to the reduction of ammonia and acid gases content in water.
